NOT NOW, HURRICANE ISAIAS

Historically, hurricanes haven't done much to York County, being far enough inland to get away with a few days of heavy rain, though it won't stop panic-buyers from stocking up by any means. The problem, though, is nobody quite knows how to handle hurricane season during a pandemic.

Hurricane Isaias is expected to hit the coastline tonight into tomorrow (Tuesday) morning, and should reach us by Wednesday. Fortunately, it's currently only a Category 1 and, according to The Weather Channel, likely won't be a tropical storm by the time it reaches us.

If you plan to stock up—although it seems excessive, given the current weakness of the storm—at least wear a mask. York County residents should prepare for some wind and rain, maybe a pressure headache for those over 40, but besides that, maybe this will finally be the excuse this place needs to stay the heck inside.
